Online Admission Portal for Government Medical Colleges

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Online Admission Process:

Selected candidates who have been allotted new Government Medical College, by the J&K BOPEE, can apply through online link-"Student Admissions" given on the Websites and of concerned Medical College, within stipulated time period mentioned in the J&K BOPEE Notification (Notification No 59-BOPEE of 2019 dated 05-07-2019) and detailed instructions are also given in the said website

While filling the online application candidates are advised to select their Institution for which they have been selected.

Application once submitted successfully will not be editable. Candidate will be solely responsible for all the information submitted by him/her. In case in any information is found incorrect/deficient/incoherent, at any stage, the applicant shall be responsible for the same. Therefore, the candidates must check correctness of the filled in particulars before finally submitting the application.

The copy of the successfully submitted application will be available for print for reference of the Candidate / officials.

Steps to be followed to submit Online Application Form

Step-1: Click on the button "Student Admissions" (Websites

Step-2: Click on "New Registration" button and Fill up the Registration Form.

Step-3: You can choose desired User Id and Password.

Step-4: Once submitted, you can Log with your Username and Password.

Step-5: You will be required to fill the form which is available in four(04) tabs for Basic Details/Academic Details/Uploads/Preview and Pay Fee. In Basic Details/Academic Details/Uploads/ sections, click on SAVE button to preserve application. Please ensure to SAVE all your entered information.

Step-6: Keep ready following documents before starting online submission of Application Form

a) Scanned copies of mark sheet / Diploma pertaining to educational qualifications. Scanned/Digital copy of passport size photo (Maximum size- 50 KB), and Signature (Maximum size- 20 KB).

b) Self attested Affidavits as per the formats/language available on the Website.

c) Category Certificate (if applicable)

d) State Subject Certificate.

Step-8: Then, select the option for the payment of Application Fee. Initially, a pre-filled challan will be generated with relevant fee amount. Candidate will have to deposit the fee in the J&K Bank Branch through this challan. Attach one copy of challan to the Application Form after depositing the Fee in the bank before submitting the hard copy at the College. The candidate must keep his/her copy of Challan for any further reference if required. Later-on College may decide to provide Online Payment Gateway Option to the candidates wherein candidate will be able to deposit the payment through Debit/Credit Card or Net-banking Option.

Step-9: Candidate should take the print of his/her application form. The application form in hardcopy along with original requisite documents and deposited fee challan needs to be submitted personally in the College Office well before the cut-off date/time as mentioned in the JKBOPEE Notification. Please note that only properly submitted application form along with documents and deposited fee challan will be considered for the admission.

The Candidate will have to personally appear before the respective College Admission Committee for formalizing the Admission Process. This portal is devised just to facilitate the Admission Process.

Step-10: All further communications regarding the entire process will be available on the designated website. Candidates are requested to keep themselves update by regularly visiting the website. No individual communication will be done in this matter.
